Our membership with the NPMA, which includes over 7,000 pest management professionals and companies, helps to advance the solutions within our industry. Through the non-profit NPMA association we can gain access to educational opportunities, technical resources and network with other like-minded public health-minded organizations so that we can achieve the results our customers demand. - Greater Chicago Pest Management Alliance (GCPMA)
Through the GCPMA Smithereen Pest Management is able to partner with local companies. Not only does working with local manufacturers and suppliers help keep our costs down, but we also stay more informed about the latest state legislation and compliance requirements that impact our business practices along with the health and safety concerns of our customers. - Midwest Pesticide Action Center
Smithereen Pest Management is committed to minimizing the use of pesticides. As a member of the Midwest Pesticide Action Center we aim to do our part in reducing the use of toxic chemical pesticides and advancing state and local policies. We practice pest management using effective pesticide alternatives in support of community health and wellness for current residents and tenants, in addition to our future generations. - US Green Building Council

Through IPM of North America Smithereen Pest Management is able to leverage our integrated pest management (IPM) efforts in support of public safety and health alongside similar companies and projects that embody similar ideals. By coming together with like-minded organizations we can help to further the reach of IPM practices across various industries ranging from agriculture to public and private facilities. - Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA)
The CAA advocates in support of multi-family rental properties throughout the Chicagoland area for building owners, managers and developers. As part of this trade association, Smithereen Pest Management works to inform and train business and buildings managers on pertinent pest management concerns and strategies. The CAA operates as a local affiliate of its parent organization, the NAA, or National Apartment Association. - Building Owners and Managers Associations (BOMA Kansas & Illinois)

Our partnership with the ESA helps the team at Smithereen Pest Management stay abreast of the latest developments affecting our industry. Our team of knowledgeable scientists and industry professionals gain insight on health related entomological information and then use this data in support of our insect and pest mitigation efforts. - Illinois Healthcare Association (IHCA)
The non-profit association of IHCA advocates on behalf of the health and safety of residents of numerous types of long term healthcare facilities as well as programs for the developmentally disabled.
